Initial Teacher Training is a university-led approach and focuses on study and practical time in school. We have a School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme, which is a postgraduate route that’s delivered by groups of schools and colleges working in partnership with El-Roi London University.

The foundation of our curriculum development is based on Transpersonal Pedagogy. The transpersonal educator tries to excite the Child in us, to bring to birth new selves, new possibilities of experience. Through transpersonal education a person becomes aware of the feelings, fantasies and experiences which are our common heritage as human beings and begins to sense the interrelatedness of all things.
