Vocational education is sometimes referred to as career and technical education. Vocational courses are usually aimed at equipping students with practical skills for a specific profession or field. Hence, they are often aimed at a specialized career and designed in a manner such as to help you upgrade your skills for that career. Aims of Our Vocational Qualifications

To build on the existing knowledge, understanding, skills and experience, learners can progress from their current level of education or return to learning.

The development of study skills to prepare learners for progression to Higher Education, a level 4 apprenticeship, to support life-long learning and enable learners to improve their effectiveness in the workplace.

Applying the knowledge and skills in a vocational context facilitates an increased understanding of organizations and their function.

Increased knowledge and understanding of individual roles in organizations to which learners may aspire.

Entry Criteria

These qualifications are designed for learners who are typically aged 18 and above. For learners who have recently been in education or training, the entry profile is likely to include one of the following:

 Five or more GCSEs at grades C and above or Grade 4 and above

another related level 2 subjects, WAEC and NECO.

Other equivalent international qualifications.

Learners will need to have appropriate Level 2 English and Mathematics/Numeracy standards to access relevant resources and complete the unit tasks and assignments.
