The Master’s course in Health and Social Care aims to provide you with a master’s level education in the concepts, theories & academic skills of relevance to your work arena or chosen career path. The course caters for both students who are currently working in Health & Social Care and for students who are not currently working in these fields but hope to develop the skills & knowledge to take up such employment. As such, the course offers a flexible approach to the subjects studied and your mode of study – both taught and work-based modules can be chosen. In addition, it will provide you with a multidisciplinary and interprofessional platform to inspire and enable you to understand social experiences of health and care, approaches to care across the sector, critically examine the complex and diverse nature of various concepts, assess, and understand policy issues, and evaluate evidence and understand what works.
